Angela Schmidt

Angela Schmidt is an experienced histology technician and supervisor with over 40 years in the field. Currently employed at Good Samaritan Hospital since May 2010, Angela has successfully consolidated histology labs, expanded lab space, and oversees the technical aspects of the department while adhering to CAP and CLIA guidelines. Previous roles at TriHealth included significant management responsibilities, overseeing 20 direct reports, and ensuring high productivity rates and accreditation success across multiple histology departments. Angela's earlier experience spans esteemed institutions like Mercy Hospital and Deaconess Hospital, where expertise in various laboratory techniques and instrumentation was developed. Angela holds a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership and a Bachelor's degree in Health Science, along with multiple certifications in histology-related instrumentation.
