Gavin Armitage has over 20 years of work experience in the quality management field. Gavin started their career as an apprentice at The Weir Group in 1998 and later worked as a Quality Technician/Engineer. At The Weir Group, they managed customer feedback and complaints processes and ensured compliance with PED and ATEX accreditations.

In 2005, Gavin joined Cameron as a Quality Engineer and performed internal and external audits. Gavin also managed the quality engineering and delivery of various products for offshore projects. This includes Xmas Trees, Flowbases, Permanent Guide bases, Tubing Hangers, Caps, Debris Covers, and flow line caps connectors.

In 2010, Gavin became a Package Quality Manager at Cameron, responsible for ensuring the delivery of products to BP for the Blk 31 PSVM project met quality standards. Gavin managed a team of Technicians and QA Engineers and prioritized work based on project delivery schedules.

Gavin joined OneSubsea in 2013 as a System Quality Manager, where they were responsible for ensuring the quality of delivered products. This included the Wellhead system, Subsea Xmas Trees, Manifolds, Connection systems, Control system, Workover System, System Integration, and interface management. Gavin managed a team of QA personnel to ensure deliveries met project requirements.

Since 2017, Gavin has been working as the Quality Director at Trillium Flow Technologies, where they oversee the quality operations of the company.

Gavin Armitage completed a Bachelor's Degree in Non-Destructive Testing and Quality from the University of Northampton between 2010 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained an HNC in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Huddersfield between 2000 and 2002.
