Anil Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and organizations. Anil began their career as a Cardiologist at William Osler Health System in 2002 and held this role until 2006. Anil then joined Trillium Health Centre in 2009 as the Medical Director of CCU and Clinical Cardiology. In addition to their medical responsibilities, they also served as the Co-Chair of the Smoking Cessation Committee. In 2011, Anil Gupta became the Physician Lead in Innovation for the Cardiac Program at Trillium Health Partners. Anil has also been involved in various advisory and board roles, such as a Board Member for the United Way of Peel Region and a Talent Fund Board Member for Telefilm Canada. Anil Gupta's commitment to community involvement is further evident through their participation in the South Asian Committee for Tennis Canada. Their extensive work experience showcases their expertise in healthcare, innovation, and community engagement.
Anil Gupta attended Dalhousie University from 1992 to 1996, where they obtained an MD degree in Medicine. Anil then moved on to Western University and completed an Internal Medicine Residency from 1996 to 1999. Following this, they pursued a Cardiology Residency at Western University from 1999 to 2002.
