Jim Miller has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2014, they worked as a Software Development Intern at NCX, where they independently developed features for the PlotHound application and contributed to a Python/Javascript codebase. In 2018, Jim served as a Fulbright Grantee, teaching English as a Foreign Language and acting as a cultural ambassador in Lanzarote, Spain. Jim participated in lesson planning and community development during their time there. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as an English Language Teaching Assistant at the Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n in Spain, collaborating with instructors to develop culturally aware lesson plans and leading instruction for various age groups. In 2020, Jim became a Graduate Assistant at Ball State University, where they designed and delivered curriculum on academic writing and rhetoric, received recognition as a finalist for Graduate Teacher of the Year, conducted one-on-one tele-conferencing with students, and created promotional materials for Humanities marketing initiatives. Most recently, starting in 2022, Jim joined Trilogy as an L2 Support Engineer. In this role, they played a key part in the CI/CD pipeline by reporting software defects and outages in Jira. Jim achieved top-quartile performance for the team within five months by efficiently managing the Zendesk queue. Additionally, they conducted live troubleshooting with customers and became a preferred point of contact for key clients.

Jim Miller has a diverse education history. Jim completed their Master of Arts (MA) in English at Ball State University from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they attained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Literature and Spanish Language from the University of Louisville, where they studied from 2015 to 2018. Jim also pursued undergraduate studies in Computer Science at Pitzer College from 2014 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Jim Miller has obtained certifications in Docker Training Course for the Absolute Beginner and Kubernetes for the Absolute Beginners - Hands-on Tutorial from KodeKloud in October 2022.
