Melanie Simon

Melanie Simon, LCSW, is an experienced Child and Adolescent Therapist currently working at Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Child/Adolescent Program Graduate Intern at Rogers Behavioral Health and as a Recovery Services Graduate Intern at Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare. Melanie began the career in neuropsychology as an undergraduate intern at Dr. Richard J. Wakeman's Private Practice, where responsibilities included administering neurological assessments and co-facilitating clinical interviews. Additional experience includes an internship with the Tulane Parenting Education Program, focusing on family reunification and childhood trauma, and a summer research internship at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, which involved qualitative analyses for a grant-funded research project on bipolar disorder management. Melanie holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Tulane University.
