Chad Gareau

Chad Gareau is an accomplished financial executive with extensive experience in corporate finance, strategy, and development. Currently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Trimac Transportation since November 2022, Chad previously held multiple senior leadership roles at ATCO Group from December 2015 to November 2022, including Senior Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy, and Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development. Earlier career highlights include Vice President of Finance & Planning at ATCO Structures & Logistics and Vice President of Finance and Treasury at ATCO Group, where Chad oversaw critical finance functions, treasury operations, and strategic initiatives including major acquisitions. Chad's foundation in finance was established at TransAlta as a Senior Analyst, and Chad holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from the University of Saskatchewan, complemented by an Executive Leadership Development program from Ivey Business School at Western University.
