Conor Dalton

Director of Organic Strategy at TriMark Digital

Conor Dalton has diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Conor began their career in 2011 as a Marketing Intern at Cobh Tourism Ltd., where they gained market research experience and training in Google Analytics, SEO, and social media marketing.

In 2012, Conor worked as a Customer Service Representative at First Source (Meteor Customer Care), providing solutions and exceptional service to customers of Meteor and eMobile.

Conor then became a Marketing and Communications Executive at ESB International, where they represented the marketing function within the Business Development team. Conor conducted market research, managed PR for company events, and coordinated digital and online marketing efforts.

Continuing their career in marketing, Conor joined AIB as a Social Media Content Manager. In this role, they developed and implemented social media content strategies across multiple channels and worked closely with the social analytics team to drive social campaigns.

Conor further honed their digital marketing skills as the VP of Digital at MarketingOnDemand.io in 2020.

In the same year, they also took on the role of a Guest Lecturer (MKTG-301) at the American University - Kogod School of Business.

Conor's experience in agency work includes their tenure as a Digital Marketing Project Manager at Blueliner Marketing, LLC, where they later became the Marketing Director. In these roles, Conor strategized and oversaw the delivery of key agency accounts and projects, ensuring the highest standards and best practices were upheld. Conor was involved in client strategy, digital marketing strategy, project planning, analytics, reporting, campaign implementation oversight, account management, and project management.

Most recently, Conor joined TriMark Digital in 2021 as a Senior Organic Strategist, and later assumed the role of Director of Organic Strategy in July 2022.

Conor Dalton has a diverse education history. Conor pursued their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from University College Cork, which they completed from 2008 to 2012. Following this, Conor attended the University of Galway in 2012-2013 to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Marketing Practice.

In 2014, Conor further enhanced their skills in digital marketing by completing the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute.

Before entering the university, Conor completed their Leaving Certificate from De La Salle College, Waterford, where they studied Economics, Business, Music, French, English, Irish, and Maths from 2002 to 2008.

Additionally, Conor has obtained several certifications to bolster their expertise. Notably, they earned the Google Analytics 4 Certification from Google in October 2022, the BrightEdge Certified Professional certification from BrightEdge in July 2015, and the Google Analytics Individual Qualification Exam in May 2019. In February 2019, they acquired certifications in Google Ads Fundamentals and Google Shopping Ads. Prior to this, in December 2014, they achieved the Inbound Marketing Certification awarded by HubSpot.
