Michael Sievwright

Michael Sievwright's work experience includes serving as the CEO of Trimax Mowing Systems, a New Zealand company specializing in designing, manufacturing, and distributing commercial mowing equipment. During their time at Trimax, Michael also worked as the General Manager and European Market Manager. Michael was responsible for overseeing the company's operations and marketing strategies. Additionally, Michael served as the Marketing Manager at Trimax from 2010 to 2011.

Currently, Michael is the Chairperson at Machines at Work, a company focused on developing technology to automate orchard machinery in the horticulture sector.

Furthermore, Michael served as a Board Member at PlantTech Research Institute Ltd, a New Zealand-based research and development organization specializing in addressing scientific challenges in the horticulture industry using Artificial Intelligence technology solutions.

Prior to their roles at Trimax Mowing Systems, Michael worked as a Buyer at Tru-Test Ltd.

Michael Sievwright attended the University of Otago from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a focus on Accounting and Management. Michael has also completed several additional certifications, including the Executive Program for Growing Companies from Stanford University Graduate School of Business (expected completion in 2023), the Company Directors' Course from the Institute of Directors in New Zealand (completed in 2021), the Leadership Development Programme from The ICEHOUSE (completed in 2015), the Leadership Training for Managers from Dale Carnegie Training (completed in 2014), and the Dale Carnegie Course from Dale Carnegie Training (completed in 2012).
