Devin Martin

Devin Martin has a diverse work experience in the fields of solutions architecture, engineering, and academia. From 2012 to 2014, Devin worked as a Manufacturing/Process Engineer at Dixon Valve, where they focused on improving manufacturing and assembly processes and implementing lean principles. In 2014, Devin joined TriMech as an Applications Engineer, specializing in SolidWorks and providing technical support to the sales team. Currently, Devin holds the role of Solutions Architect - Design Automation at TriMech, where they focus on understanding client business processes and recommending automation tools and services to increase efficiency. Additionally, in 2014, Devin briefly worked as a CAD Modeling II Teacher's Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, providing classroom support, assisting students with advanced SolidWorks modeling, and grading assignments.

Devin Martin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their degree, Devin has obtained several certifications in the field of mechanical design. In 2014, they became a Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) from Dassault Systèmes. Devin then progressed to earn the Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) certification in December 2014. Devin further advanced their expertise by obtaining the CSWPA-DT (Certified SolidWorks Professional - Advanced Drawing Tools) certification in January 2015, followed by the CSWPA-SM (Certified SolidWorks Professional - Advanced Sheet Metal) certification in April 2015. Devin also achieved the Certified SolidWorks Professional - Advanced Weldments (CSWPA-WD) certification and the Certified SOLIDWORKS Mechanical Design Expert certification, both in June 2015. Additionally, they earned the CSWI-MD (Certified SolidWorks Instructor for Mechanical Design) certification and the CSWS-TMD (Training Mechanical Design) certification in June 2015. Finally, in the same year, Devin obtained the Certified SolidWorks Expert (CSWE) certification and the Certified DriveWorks Professional (CDWP) certification in Mechanical Engineering specializing in DriveWorks from DriveWorks in March 2017.
