Damien Caton

Vice President, Strategy & Business Development at Trinchero Family Estates

Damien Caton has a strong background in supply chain and operations management. Damien is currently the Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at Trinchero Family Estates, where they oversee international suppliers and ensures value delivery for customers. Damien also manages demand and supply planning, customer service, logistics, inventory, procurement, and co-manufacturing. Prior to this, Damien worked at E&J Gallo Winery, where they held various roles including Supply Chain Director and Operations Manager. At Gallo, they led the idea-to-market process and supply chain administration, implemented Lean principles, and provided cross-functional leadership. Damien also has experience in finance and accounting, having worked as a Controller at Dodge Ridge Ski Area and as a Senior Accountant at Del Monte Foods, Inc. Overall, Damien's work experience demonstrates their expertise in managing supply chains, driving operational improvements, and leading cross-functional teams.

Damien Caton completed their education at the University of California, Davis. From 1996 to 1999, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Agricultural & Managerial Economics. Following that, between 2006 and 2009, they attended the University of California, Davis Graduate School of Management to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA).

In addition to their formal education, Damien Caton has obtained several certifications. In February 2020, they received the Contract and Commercial Management Advanced Practitioner Certification (ACCM) from IACCM. In December 2015, they completed the Advanced Master Certificate in Integrated Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University's Eli Broad College of Business. Most recently, in November 2021, they participated in the Executive Program in Corporate Strategy offered by the University of Chicago Booth School of Business Executive Education.
