Maya Ostrander

Design Director at Trinchero Family Estates

Maya Ostrander has extensive work experience in the design industry. Maya began their career in 2005 as a Graphic Designer at Diablo Custom Publishing, where they were responsible for designing and laying out various publications for high-profile clients such as the San Francisco Giants and the A's of Oakland. Maya worked in a deadline-sensitive environment as part of a team.

In 2010, Maya joined Gap Inc./Banana Republic as a Graphic Designer, where they focused on designing in-store seasonal signage, online banners, packaging, and other marketing materials. Maya also developed seasonal window displays and conducted research to incorporate trends and brand-appropriate solutions into their designs.

From 2011 to 2013, Maya worked as a Graphic Designer at Schawk!, Inc. / Anthem! World Wide / Brandimage, where they contributed to intelligent design solutions for consumer packaging and brand development. Maya led projects from initiation to completion and played an active role in launching new and redesigned national brands.

In 2013, Maya joined Constellation Brands as a Senior Designer. Maya collaborated with the in-house design team, brand managers, and cross-functional partners to design and art direct for an extensive portfolio of wine and spirits. Their work included creating impactful designs for packaging, collateral materials, marketing communications, and digital and social media content.

Maya then joined DDW SF in 2017 as a Senior Design Director, where they worked until 2019. Their role involved overseeing the design team and contributing to strategic design direction.

Currently, Maya works at Trinchero Family Estates as a Senior Art Director, a position they have held since 2019. In 2021, they were promoted to the role of Design Director.

Maya Ostrander pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with a focus on Graphic Design at the Academy of Art University.
