Driven by their passion for material sciences, specifically chemistry, Fabian joined the University of Potsdam in 2010. Fabian dedicated four years to their studies and achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Dr. rer. nat., in Material Sciences (Chemistry) in 2014.

To further enhance their skillset and professional development, Fabian undertook additional training in 2017. Fabian attended the Certified Six-Sigma Institute and pursued a Six-Sigma (Green Belt) certification to gain expertise in the field.

Fabian also expanded their academic experience beyond Germany during their time at The Philipp University of Marburg. In 2008-2009, they participated in an Erasmus and Research Internship program at Université de Rennes I, specializing in Metallorganic Coordination Chemistry.
