Joe Huang

Joe Huang, MD, FACS, FSVS, serves as an Associate Professor of Surgery in the Division of Vascular Surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School since July 2009, having previously held the title of Assistant Professor and Clinical Fellow. In addition to academic responsibilities, Joe Huang is an attending vascular surgeon at University Hospital, Jersey City Medical Center - Barnabas Health, and Trinitas Regional Medical Center. Joe Huang completed a residency in General Surgery and a research fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from July 2003 to June 2009 under the mentorship of Takao Ohki, MD, PhD. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Cornell University. Prior experience includes a role at the Alliance for Health Reform as staff in a health policy organization from August 1998 to August 1999.
