Sarah Stanton

Sarah Stanton is currently the General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer & Secretary at Trinity Capital Inc. Prior to this, they were the Senior Associate General Counsel, Corporate & Securities at Verra Mobility from September 2018 to June 2020 where they were responsible for corporate governance, SEC reporting, Nasdaq compliance, and M&A. From June 2016 to September 2018, Sarah was a Corporate Associate at DLA Piper where they helped growth-stage companies grow and thrive by facilitating venture capital and private equity financing, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial and licensing agreements, and handling day-to-day corporate matters. Prior to DLA Piper, Sarah was an Associate Attorney at Rusing Lopez & Lizardi, PLLC from August 2011 to May 2016.

Sarah Stanton completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Arizona, where they received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Sarah then attended the James E. Rogers College of Law at the University of Arizona, earning their Juris Doctor. Sarah is certified by both the State Bar of California and the State Bar of Arizona as a member in good standing.
