Karl Schmitt

Karl Schmitt is an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator for Data Analytics at Trinity Christian College, with prior experience as an Assistant Professor at Valparaiso University where significant contributions included designing and implementing six new data science courses and establishing a Data Science undergraduate degree. Schmitt also served as a Graduate Assistant and Researcher at the University of Maryland, and earlier worked as a Sound & Video Engineer for Youth Encounter. Schmitt holds a Ph.D. in Scientific Computing from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Physics from Wittenberg University.
