Margaret Carpenter Haigh

Margaret Carpenter Haigh serves as the Music Office Manager at Saint Thomas Church Fifth Avenue since August 2021, overseeing a wide array of public events and managing an ensemble of professional singers. As a freelance soprano, Margaret has performed with numerous prestigious orchestras and is an ensemble artist with notable groups, including The Choir of Trinity Wall Street and the Handel and Haydn Society. Additionally, Margaret holds the position of Executive Director for L'Académie du Roi Soleil and previously served as the Director of Artistic Planning for BACH AKADEMIE CHARLOTTE. With extensive experience in administration, education, and artistic leadership, Margaret's accomplishments include developing strategic plans, organizing major festivals, and managing community outreach initiatives. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Musical Arts from Case Western Reserve University and a Master of Music from the University of Cambridge.
