Lawra Gourgue

Lawra Gourgue, M.S., is an experienced professional in the fields of photography, video production, and digital media. Currently serving as the Director of Photography at Roundabout Theatre Company since January 2023, Lawra collaborates with directors and producers to establish the visual tone for productions. Additionally, Lawra holds mentorship responsibilities at Black Girls In Media and has been involved with Trinity Church Wall Street as a Video and Digital Media Engineer and Audio Visual Technician since August 2019, where responsibilities include setting up video control rooms for live services and operating live camera systems. Previous roles include Technical Director at Peloton Interactive and various positions in film production at To The Fireflies Film LLC. Lawra's educational background includes a Master of Science in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from The New School and a Bachelor of Arts in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Pace University.
