Helen Sheridan Frsc

Helen Sheridan FRSC, FTCD is an accomplished academic and researcher, currently serving as the Academic Director and Founder of the Centre of Natural Products (NatPro) at Trinity College Dublin since November 2019. With extensive experience in drug discovery, Helen has been a Director of Research and Professor at Trinity College Dublin since October 1985, overseeing various postgraduate research projects. Prior to her current roles, Helen founded Chemist and Company Director at Trino Therapeutics Ltd. from July 2000 to January 2016, a venture originating from an academic project initiated in 1989. Helen’s earlier academic endeavors include postdoctoral research at Oxford University and a research fellowship at University College Dublin. Helen holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry Natural Products and a B.Sc. in Chemistry and Zoology from University College Dublin.
