Sarah Reid Bl

Sarah Reid BL is a seasoned barrister at law with a focus on personal injuries and medical negligence, specializing in product liability and medical devices. With extensive experience at The Bar of Ireland since 2008, Sarah represents numerous patients affected by vaginal mesh complications. In addition, Sarah serves as an adjunct professor at Trinity College Dublin, teaching product liability in forensic engineering, and works as a legal consultant and course coordinator for IPA Ireland. Sarah also lectures in medical law for the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has contributed to legal literature as an author for Thomson Reuters. Having acted as advisory legal counsel to the Oireachtas, including on the significant Committee on the 8th Amendment, Sarah's previous academic roles have included lecturing on tort, contract, and commercial law at Dublin Institute of Technology. Sarah holds a Barrister at Law degree from The Honorable Society of King's Inns, an LLM from Trinity College Dublin, and an LLB from the University of Limerick.
