Teacher Of Design And Technology at Trinity Grammar School

Dylan Coleman is an experienced Design and Technology educator with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Teacher of Design and Technology at Trinity Grammar School since January 2020, Dylan focuses on VCE Product Design, emphasizing empathetic design. Prior to this role, Dylan spent 15 years at Scotch College Melbourne, where responsibilities included teaching Product Design and Electronics to Years 7 to 12, as well as serving as Acting Head of Design & Technology, overseeing curriculum development and departmental operations. Earlier teaching positions included East Doncaster Secondary College and Caerleon Comprehensive School, where foundational teaching in design and technology was established. Dylan holds a Master’s Degree in Design and Technology Education from the University of Wales and a B.A. (Hons) in Art from Nottingham Trent University. Additionally, Dylan organizes biennial expeditions to Nepal for students, promoting outdoor activities and charitable fundraising.
