Gwen Rooney

Gwen Rooney has extensive experience in clinical applications and informatics, currently serving as a Clinical Application System Analyst Sr. at Trinity Health since February 2008, where responsibilities include supporting PowerChart and maintaining Powerplans and Order sets. Prior to this, roles included Clinical Application Analyst Sr. and Clinical Application Analyst II at Trinity Health. Gwen has a strong background in nursing, having worked as an RN at Mercy Medical Center – North Iowa, where implementation of the PowerChart Office Application in two clinics was a notable achievement. Gwen began a career in healthcare as an LPN at Mitchell County Hospital and possesses several degrees from North Iowa Area Community College, including an associate's degree in Registered Nursing, LPN, and a Medical Assistant diploma, along with training as a Limited Radiology Technician.
