Kelsie McVeety

Kelsie McVeety is a Licensed Certified Genetic Counselor currently working at Trinity Health since July 2021 and serving as a Content Consultant for My Gene Counsel, LLC since January 2021. Kelsie has a diverse background in genetic counseling, having worked at Beaumont Health as a Certified Genetic Counselor from May 2019 to June 2021, where responsibilities included patient management and community outreach. Kelsie gained valuable experience through various internships at Michigan Medicine Cancer Genetics, the Pediatric Genetics Clinic, and the Maternal Fetal Medicine department, where patient counseling and care coordination were central duties. Kelsie also held leadership roles in the Undergraduate Genetic Counseling Club at The Ohio State University, contributing to member development and community service initiatives. Kelsie's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from the University of Oregon.
