Martha Murphy

Martha Murphy is an accomplished human resources executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within the healthcare and insurance industries. Currently serving as the System Office Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Trinity Health since August 2012, Martha provides strategic HR leadership to executives and system office leaders across various divisions. Prior roles at Trinity Health include Vice President of Labor Relations and HR Operations and Vice President of Employee and Labor Relations. Previously, Martha held the position of Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital, overseeing all HR functions at the community hospital. Martha's career began at The Auto Club Group, where roles included Senior Manager of Insurance Compensation and Rewards and Assistant General Counsel. Martha holds a Juris Doctor from Wayne State University Law School and a Bachelor of Public Affairs in Public Policy Analysis from Wayne State University.
