Rachel Ibarra

Rachel Ibarra, MSW, is a dedicated social worker with a diverse range of experience in community and medical settings. Currently serving as a Holistic Defense Social Worker for Ottawa County since March 2023, Rachel also works as a Medical Social Worker at Trinity Health since January 2022. Previous experience includes an internship with the Grand Rapids Area Hoarding Taskforce and a role as an MSW Intern with the West Grand Neighborhood Organization, where Rachel conducted a community needs assessment and worked with Community Development Block Grant requirements. Additionally, Rachel contributed as a Restorative Behavior Intern at Lighthouse Academy, focusing on restorative practices for at-risk youth. Educational qualifications include a Master of Social Work from Michigan State University and Bachelor degrees in Social Work and Science from Grand Valley State University.
