Barb Samson

Barb Samson currently serves as the National Director of Quality and Clinical Services at Trinity Health At Home since July 2018 and has been the Director of Clinical Services at Trinity Home Health Services since January 1987. With extensive experience in quality assurance and improvement, Barb focuses on the development and implementation of specialty programs, accreditation and regulatory oversight, risk management, and policy development within a multi-agency, multi-state homecare and hospice organization. Prior positions include serving as a Case Manager on the Inpatient Rehab Unit at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital from January 1991 to January 2010 and overseeing program review and course development at the College of Nursing, University of Detroit Mercy from January 2001 to January 2002. Barb holds an MBA in Health Care from Baker College Center for Graduate Studies, obtained between January 2003 and January 2007, and an MS in Nursing from the University of Michigan, completed between January 1978 and January 1980.
