Blake Thiess

Blake Thiess, PHR, SHRM-CP, is an experienced talent acquisition professional currently serving as the Director of Talent Acquisition at Trinity Hospice since July 2023. Prior to this role, Blake worked as a Technical Recruiter at AdAstra Talent Advisors, providing strategic recruiting support for startups in the space and clean technology sectors. Blake also held the position of Director of Talent Acquisition at Prestige Care, Inc. for seven years, where responsibilities included overseeing a team of nine and implementing successful talent acquisition strategies that significantly reduced hiring costs and improved time to fill for leadership roles. Earlier career experience includes roles at Thrivent Financial, KPMG US, Columbia Distributing, and Holiday Retirement, where Blake developed a strong foundation in human resources and employee relations. Blake holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Pacific Lutheran University.
