Maribel C. Batista

Mrs. Batista began her career in property management 18 years ago, quickly winning promotions to site management and multi-site management. She is bilingual and has provided instruction to Spanish-speaking residents. She excels at managing staff, property finances, budgeting, and facilities management. She has also worked to earn resident income certifications for Low Income Housing Tax Credit, HOME, CBH, FSF, AHTF, Section 236, and Project-Based Section 8 properties, allowing her to ensure compliance with all state and federal rules and regulations.

Mrs. Batista oversees a mixed portfolio consisting of Affordable, Cooperative, Market and Commercial developments within the North Shore and Western region of Massachusetts. Mrs. Batista also serves on the Drug and Safety Committee and Fundraising committee for NEAHMA.

She most recently worked for National Investments, Ltd, in Rhode Island, as the Director of Property Management with oversight of 10 affordable properties, where she worked to reduce costs and maximize values.

Mrs. Batista’s property management credentials include: Certified Property Manager (CPM®), Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®), National Affordable Housing Professional – Executive (NAHP-e), Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO), Fair Housing Certification (FHC), Certified Credit Professional (C4P), Specialist in Housing Credit Management (SHCM) and Registered Cooperative Manager (RCM®). Mrs. Batista has an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice and is Veteran of the Rhode Island Army National Guard.
