Kevin Howard

Engineering Specialist at Trinity School

Kevin Howard is an experienced engineering specialist and makerspace consultant with a strong background in aerospace engineering and hands-on educational practices. Currently at The Trinity School since June 2014, Kevin focuses on curriculum development, instruction, and tool integration to enhance students' problem-solving and teamwork skills. As a makerspace consultant at Launch Zone since July 2006, Kevin has applied expertise in applied science, programming, and robotics to create engaging hands-on STEM workshops for students from Pre-K to 12th grade. Previous roles include teaching physics at Atlanta Girls School, aerodynamics simulation for military aircraft at L3 Communications, embedded software design for avionics at Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, and flight test engineering at Pratt and Whitney. Kevin holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Virginia and an AS in Professional Pilot Technology from Indian River State College.
