Katie Ramirez

Mrs. Ramirez is the Director of Career Services and Co-Director of the Center for Experiential Learning and Career Success. She has over 15 years of experience in career development and nonprofits with strong skills in strategic planning, leadership, project management, employer relations, workshop development and career advising. Prior to stepping into the Director and Co-Director roles, Katie stared her journey at Trinity as the Assistant Director of Coaching and Advising before serving as the Associate Director of Career Services. Mrs. Ramirez holds a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor's degree in Art and is certified in both the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Interest Inventory assessments. Katie's experience includes extensive career advising and programming, with a strong emphasis on first-year and undeclared students. Prior to joining the Trinity team, Katie worked in Career Services at the University of the Incarnate Word as the Coordinator of Professional Development and Assistant Director as well as in the private sector in the nonprofit industry.

Katie is a past President and President-Elect of the San Antonio Colleges and Universities Career Centers Association (SACUCCA) during which time she led the effort to better connect Texas-wide career consortia, an effort she continues to lead today.
