Mario V. Gonzalez Fuentes is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Trinity University since June 2011, focusing on courses such as Marketing Research, Marketing Management, and International Marketing. Research interests include consumer identity and acculturation, the effects of globalization on consumer identities, and the intersection of storytelling and brand identities. Previously, Mario served as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at EAE Business School and held roles including Director of the Strategic Research Center, overseeing research initiatives. Additional teaching experience includes positions at College for International Studies - Endicott College, Instituto L.R. Klein, and Universidad De La Salle Bajio. Mario has a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from Universidad de Alcalá and a Master’s in Statistics from Arizona State University, where Mario also worked as a Statistics Consultant.
