Melissa Jacobs

Melissa Jacobs, BSc, DVM, currently serves as the Business Owner of PawsVet Housecalls & Mobile Veterinary Care since June 2023, providing mobile veterinary services for dogs and cats in San Antonio, TX. In addition, Melissa has been the Business Owner of RemysBrands since September 2020, focusing on creating pet bath products. Academic roles include a Biology Lab Instructor at Trinity University since August 2021 and previous teaching at Foothill College. Melissa's veterinary experience includes positions as an Associate Veterinarian at Discovery Bay Veterinary Clinic and Whipple Avenue Pet Hospital, as well as a long tenure at ARGUELLO PET HOSPITAL. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from St. George's University, along with advanced training in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine and a Bachelor's degree in Physics and Astronomy from the University of Victoria.
