Hadrien Vanlaeys

Hadrien Vanlaeys has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Hadrien started their career in 2011 as a Business Controller at Total Petrochemicals, where they were responsible for reporting, monitoring, and analyzing performance. Hadrien then worked as a Project Analyst at DTZ, where they conducted real estate valuations and financial analysis. In 2012, they became a Microfinance Consultant at FINCA International, where they supervised micro-loans and conducted audits. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Project & Finance Consultant at TriFinance Belgium, providing consulting services in finance and control. Hadrien then took on the role of Head of Internal Audit at Alliance for Microfinance in Myanmar, where they established and managed the internal audit department. Since 2017, they have been working at Banque Triodos, initially as a Product Manager for Business Lending and currently as the Customer Journey Lead for Business Lending.

Hadrien Vanlaeys completed a Master's degree in Business Engineering from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management between 2004 and 2010. In 2023, they attended the Institute for Social Banking for a Summer School on Sustainable Finance. In 2021, they participated in a program in Change Leadership at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. Hadrien also completed an exchange program in International Development and Management at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta between 2009 and 2010. For their high school education, they obtained a diploma in Latin-Mathematics from Athénée Fernand Blum between 1998 and 2004. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Lean Green Belt, Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Infocycle, Prince 2 Foundation, and Business Analyst from various institutions between 2013 and 2021.
