Jaiganesh Balasundaram

Jaiganesh Balasundaram is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing advanced software applications and optimizing performance. Currently working at Tripadvisor since September 2022, Jaiganesh previously held software engineering roles at deepcompute, where a significant achievement included the design of a GraphQL to SQL compiler that enhanced query performance by at least 10x. Prior internships at Tripadvisor and Intel Corporation involved migrating existing technologies and implementing optimized solutions for deep learning. Jaiganesh also has a strong academic background, having served as a course instructor and teaching assistant at the University of Toronto, alongside conducting PhD-level research in theoretical cryptography.
