Pai-Hsiang Hsiao

Pai-Hsiang Hsiao has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 1998, they worked as a Research Assistant at Academia Sinica before moving on to Harvard University as a Doctoral Student and Research Assistant from 1999 to 2007. In 2003, they became a Developer for the OpenH323 and XMeeting Project, actively participating in the development of the OpenH323 project and founding the XMeeting project. From 2013 until the present, Pai-Hsiang has served as Director of Engineering at TripAdvisor, overseeing technical operations for production and development infrastructures, as well as information security and security operations.

Alongside their professional roles, Pai-Hsiang Hsiao also worked as a Lecturer at Regis College in 2009 and has a strong background in academia.

Pai-Hsiang Hsiao completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from Fu Jen Catholic University from 1991 to 1996. Following that, Pai-Hsiang Hsiao pursued further education at Harvard University, where they obtained a Ph.D. and S.M. degree in Computer Science from 1999 to 2007.
