Jesse Gronner has a strong background in the renewable energy industry, with experience in various leadership roles. Jesse is currently the CEO/Founder of Triple Oak Power, a company they founded in 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Strategic Advisor at EnCap Energy Transition from February 2020 to August 2020. From 2016 to 2020, Jesse was the Vice President of Business Development at Avangrid Renewables, where they led all renewable development activities across the United States. Before that, they held the position of Managing Director, Western Region at Iberdrola Renewables from 2008 to 2016, overseeing renewable energy development in the Western U.S. Jesse also worked as a Project Lead Developer at PPM Energy from 2004 to 2007 and as a Project Manager at PacifiCorp Power Marketing from 2001 to 2003, where they managed wind development assets and gas-fired power plant projects.
Jesse Gronner attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and Media Studies. During their time at UMass Amherst, Jesse also participated in an international exchange program at the University of Buenos Aires from 1997 to 1998, focusing on Language and Culture.
