Tanner Cook

Tanner Cook has a diverse work experience in the field of research. Tanner started their career as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Minnesota in 2013, where they worked in Dr. Carrie Wilmot's lab and focused on X-ray Crystallization. Their responsibilities included optimizing crystallization conditions and performing structural analysis.

In 2016, Tanner continued their research work at the University of Minnesota as a Researcher II in Dr. Fang Li's lab. During this time, they utilized cell culturing and molecular cloning techniques to study various coronaviruses, specifically focusing on invasion mechanisms and spike protein structure.

Moving on to industry experience, Tanner joined Zymergen, Inc. in 2019 as a Research Associate II, where they worked until 2020. At Zymergen, they contributed to research projects using their skills in a lab setting.

In 2020, Tanner joined Lygos as a Research Associate II and served until 2022. This position allowed him to further enhance their research skills.
