Andrew Aikens

Andrew Aikens has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Andrew is currently working at TripleLift as a Tech Lead (P&I) Solutions Engineer. Prior to that, they worked at Barrington Edge as a Solution Architect, where they provided system design, software development, and business/technical analysis for clients. Before that, they were a Senior Consultant at The Barrington Consulting Group, where they performed Privacy Impact Assessments and designed digital applications for the province of Nova Scotia. Andrew also worked as a Jr. Oracle Developer at Unisys, a Software Developer at Liquid Media Inc., and a Systems Analyst at Saint Mary's University. Additionally, they held roles such as Treasurer at Dalhousie Computer Science Society, Vice-Chair at Dal-ACM, and Co-op Student at Cognos (now IBM).

Andrew Aikens attended Dalhousie University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in Computer Science (BCSc). In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained the following: Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT) from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in 2019, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from The Barrington Consulting Group in 2016, shaping-up-with-angular-js from Code School in 2015, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) from (ISC)² in April 2021, and Programmatic Advertising Foundations from LinkedIn and The Trade Desk Edge Academy Certified: Marketing Foundations from The Trade Desk, both in 2022. Andrew also holds certification as an AMANDA Configuration Specialist from CSDC Systems Inc. and ITIL Foundations Version 3 Certificate in IT Service Management from OGC, but the obtained month and year for these certifications are unavailable.
