Amelia Dickson has a diverse work experience in the field of public affairs and journalism. Amelia started their career as a reporter at The Daily World, where they developed sources in local government and public utilities and crafted feature stories. Amelia then moved on to The Olympian, where they worked as a crime, breaking news, and government reporter, translating technical information into reader-friendly content and building professional relationships with government officials and community leaders. Amelia also worked at the Washington Senate Democratic Caucus as a Public Information Officer, implementing multimedia communications plans and tailoring speeches to senators' individual voices. Amelia later joined the Hawaii State Department of Health as an Information Specialist and the 515th Air Mobility Operations Wing as the Chief Public Affairs, before their current role as the Chief Public Affairs at Tripler Army Medical Center.
