Tripler Army Medical Center
Dan Mason is a radiology resident at Tripler Army Medical Center, interpreting imaging studies for active-duty service members, veterans, and underserved patients from Pacific islands since July 2022. Previously, Dan completed a categorical general surgery residency at Prisma Health, engaging in complex surgical care and trauma response. Earlier experience includes quality assurance and technical support for HALO software at Indica Labs, research on influenza channel blockers at Brigham Young University, and mentorship roles at a therapeutic boarding school. Dan's early internships at Los Alamos National Laboratory involved work in weapons engineering, and prior to that, held positions in marketing and machining. Dan holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Biophysics from Brigham Young University.
