Robert Corson

Chief Nursing Officer at Tripler Army Medical Center

Robert Corson has a diverse and extensive work experience in the medical field. Robert started their career in 1999 as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at the 67th Forward Surgical Team and later worked as a Critical Care Registered Nurse at the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center. In 2006, they became a Company Commander and Brigade Nurse for the 2nd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division in the US Army. In 2010, they joined Tripler Army Medical Center as the Chief Pediatric Nursing. Robert then worked at the 8th FST as Chief from 2013 to 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Robert served at MEDCoE (US Army Medical Center of Excellence) as a Senior Capability Developer and as Executive Officer, CSBPO. Robert also held positions at Madigan Army Medical Center as the Chief of the Medical Surgical Nursing Department and at the 147th Field Hospital as the Assistant Chief Nurse. Currently, Robert is working as the Deputy Commander Inpatient Services at Tripler Army Medical Center and will become the Chief Nursing Officer in 2023.

Robert Corson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Florida State University from 1993 to 1997. Robert then pursued a Master's degree in Registered Nursing, Nursing Administration, Nursing Research, and Clinical Nursing at Liberty University from 2013 to 2015.
