Dr. Sean Harap has a diverse work experience in the healthcare sector. Starting in 1998, Dr. Harap served as a Flight Surgeon in the US Navy for two years. In 2003, they joined The National Institutes of Health, specifically the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease, for a year. Following this, they worked as an Internal Medicine Physician at Salem Hospital from 2004 to 2006. Dr. Harap then joined Tripler Army Medical Center, where they served as an Internal Medicine Physician and later became the Deputy Director of Quality and Safety starting in 2021. Additionally, they held the role of Director of Primary Care Service Line at Army Regional Health Command Pacific from 2013 to 2021.

Sean Harap, MD JD FACP completed their Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at Cornell University from 1989 to 1992.
