Cooper Smidt

Cooper Smidt has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Starting in 2018, Cooper held various positions at Louisiana State University (LSU), including Research Assistant and Student Worker within the Petroleum Department. In 2019, Cooper joined BBVA in the USA as a Data Scientist II and also had a brief stint as a LEAP Associate. In 2021, Cooper moved on to Mammoth Growth, where they first served as an Analytics Engineer I and later as an Analytics Engineer II. Currently, Cooper is working at Tripleseat as an Analytics Engineer, a role they started in June 2023. Throughout their career, Cooper has gained expertise in analytics, data science, research, and petroleum.

Cooper Smidt completed their Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University, which spanned from 2014 to 2019. During their time at the university, they also pursued a Minor in Business Energy. In 2018, they enrolled in a Python course at Codecademy. Prior to attending Louisiana State University, Cooper attended Strake Jesuit College Preparatory from 2011 to 2014, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown.

In addition to their formal education, Cooper Smidt obtained the dbt Analytics Engineering Certification from dbt Labs in November 2022.
