Sebastian Tanzer is a co-founder and CEO of triply, a company they started in 2017. With triply, Sebastian's goal is to make sustainable mobility accessible to everyone by assisting businesses and organizations in optimizing and tracking their carbon emissions. Sebastian provides actionable insights and tools for reducing carbon footprints and meeting sustainability reporting requirements. Before triply, Sebastian worked as a Web Application Developer at 5lvlup GmbH from June 2016 to August 2017. Prior to that, they had an internship as a Web Developer at the same company in June and July 2015. In 2021, Sebastian became a Sigma Squared Fellow at Sigma Squared Society.

Sebastian Tanzer has a diverse education history. In 2012, they began studying Informatics with a focus on Economics at HTBLA Leonding, culminating in the achievement of an A-Level (Matura) degree with distinction in 2017. Following this, in 2018, Sebastian attended the University of Cambridge for the I.E.C.T. - Summer School on Entrepreneurship program.

Continuing their education, Sebastian pursued a Bachelor's degree from Johannes Kepler Universität Linz between 2018 and 2020. During this time, they also participated in the Make_Shift Executive Leadership Program at the European Forum Alpbach in 2019.

To enhance their skills further, Sebastian obtained several additional certifications. In 2019, they completed the AI Product Manager certification from Udacity. Additionally, they earned the Cambridge Business English Certificate Vantage from Cambridge Assessment English.

In 2022, Sebastian attended Universität St.Gallen (HSG), Executive School, specializing in Law & Management, where they received a CAS in Smart Mobility Management focusing on Transportation/Mobility Management.

Although Sebastian has been recognized by Forbes as part of the 30 Under 30 list, there is no specific information regarding the year or month of obtaining this distinction.
