Brent Farris has a strong background in software engineering and game development. Brent has held various roles in several companies over the years. In 2010, they worked as a Web Developer for Cannonball Pools and later as a Software and Web Engineer for Materialize Me. From 2011 to 2012, they served as a Software Engineer and Web Developer for Cannon Sports, Inc., where they created eCommerce engines and backend portals. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer for Marquee Productions Inc. Farris joined Microsoft Corporation as a Technical Speaker in 2014, where they presented technical ideas and strategies for game development on Windows platforms. Brent also worked as an Adjunct Faculty for Game Programming at the Art Institute of California - Hollywood. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for Playtika Santa Monica on the Bingo Blitz project. In 2016, they joined PierPlay as a Senior Software Engineer, working on the development of Scrabble Go. Brent then moved to Scopely in 2020 as a Senior Software Engineer II, specializing in artificial intelligence, server/backend development, and front-end client unity development. Currently, Farris is employed at Tripwire Interactive as a Senior AI/Engine Programmer.
