Kaitlyn Ruff

Principal Quality Engineer at TriSalus Life Sciences

Kaitlyn Ruff has a diverse work experience. Kaitlyn began their career in 2015 as a Research Assistant at The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. In this role, they performed physical evaluations of equine case study patients and used Avizo 3D software to produce 3D models of the equine skeletal system. Kaitlyn also completed 3D force analyses on individual equine bones. In 2016, they moved to ArunA Biomedical, Inc., where they worked as a Research Engineer. In 2017, they joined BD as a Quality Engineer I, providing Quality Engineering support for the Acute Urology franchise. Kaitlyn then became a Quality Engineer II and held this role until 2022, when they were promoted to Principal Quality Engineer at TriSalus Life Sciences.

Kaitlyn Ruff graduated from The University of Georgia in 2016 with a Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. Kaitlyn then obtained an Engineer in Training (EIT) certification from the NCEES in May 2016. In 2017, Ruff obtained six certifications from Coursera in the Six Sigma field, including Six Sigma and the Organization (Advanced), Six Sigma Advanced Define and Measure Phases, Six Sigma Advanced Analyze Phase, and Six Sigma Advanced Improve and Control Phases. In 2018, they obtained an ASQ Certified Medical Device Auditor certification from ASQ - World Headquarters and a Certified Biomedical Auditor certification from the same institution. In 2019, Ruff began pursuing a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and also obtained an ASQ Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) certification from ASQ - World Headquarters.
