Tammi Hernandez has extensive experience in the field of human resources. Tammi is currently working as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Tri-State Memorial Hospital since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Clearwater Paper Corporation starting in October 2010. Tammi held the positions of Senior Human Resources Manager from April 2017 to August 2022, and SR Human Resources Manager from October 2010 to March 2017. Before joining Clearwater Paper Corporation, Tammi worked as a Labor Representative at Clearwater Paper Corporation from 2009 to 2010. Tammi also has previous experience as a Human Resources Representative and Training Technician at Potlatch Corporation from 2001 to 2009.

Tammi Hernandez earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business from Central Washington University, where they studied from 1995 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Lewis-Clark State College from 1994 to 1995 with a focus on General studies, although they did not obtain a degree from this institution. In terms of additional certifications, Tammi completed the Lewis Clark Valley Leadership Program offered by the Lewis Clark Valley Chamber of Commerce in September 2019. In April 2013, they obtained a certification as a DISC Certified professional, although the institution from which they acquired this certification is unknown. Lastly, in January 2009, Tammi earned a PHR certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).
