Troy Widstrand

Troy Widstrand began their work experience in 2006 as a Teacher at the School District of Hillsborough County. In this role, they instructed students in math and social studies and also served as a Team Leader, Game Manager, AVID Site Team Member, Reading Leadership Team Member, and Extramural Sports Coach. Troy created curriculum and recruited students for an elected debate class. In 2014, Troy transitioned to L.E.C./T.E.G. as the President - Southeast, overseeing construction operations in the Southeastern United States. In this role, they measured and reported on operational performance, developed plans to improve key performance indicators (KPIs), and partnered with executives to achieve short and long-term operational goals. Troy obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of London from 2020 to 2024. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from the University of South Florida in 2004 to 2005. Before their bachelor's degree, they completed an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in History at the College of DuPage from 2000 to 2003.

In addition to their formal education, Troy Widstrand has obtained various certifications. Troy holds a South Carolina General Contractor license from the South Carolina Contractor's Licensing Board, obtained in December 2015. Troy also obtained a Georgia General Contractor license from the Georgia Secretary of State in May 2022, and a North Carolina General Contractor license from the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors in January 2022. Furthermore, they hold a City of Columbus Ohio General Contractor license from the City of Columbus Department of Building and Zoning Services obtained in March 2022, and a West Virginia General Contractor license from the West Virginia Contractor Licensing Board obtained in August 2022.

Troy has obtained an Alabama General Contractor license from the Alabama Licensing Board for General Contractors in July 2022, and a Virginia General Contractor, Class A, H/H, ESC license from the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation in September 2019. Troy Widstrand also holds a Summit County Ohio General Contractor license from the Summit County Building Department obtained in March 2022, a Dallas Texas Building Contractor license from the City of Dallas Texas obtained in February 2022, and a General Contractor license from the City of Cleveland obtained in March 2022.

In addition to their contractor licenses, Troy Widstrand has acquired other certifications. Troy obtained the Tennessee General Contractors, BC-B, HC, S-Telecommunications, Unlimit license from the Tennessee Board for Licensing Contractors in November 2019. Troy holds the OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety and Health certification from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration obtained in November 2014, as well as the OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety and Health certification obtained in March 2015. Troy also earned the DTS Working with RF Energy certification from Tessco in February 2016 and the First Aid CPR AED certification from the American Heart Association in January 2015.
