Erica Pascal

Erica is the founder and CEO of Ingensity IP, P.C., an intellectual property strategy firm dedicated to startup life sciences companies. Prior to starting Ingensity IP, Erica was a patent litigation partner with DLA Piper. She is a registered patent attorney and admitted to practice in California.

Before launching her career in law, Erica was a scientist. She received a B.S. in biology from MIT and a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from the University of California Berkeley. Following post-doctoral work in the field of plant virology, Erica joined a unit of Ciba-Geigy that eventually became Syngenta. While at Syngenta she managed a number of agricultural biotech projects and also oversaw the Syngenta global biotechnology portfolio.
