Kimberly joined Triton in June of 2020 as a member of the strain development team and brings over 10 years of expertise in evolutionary biology and genetics. At Triton, she works on mating and developing new strains of Chlamydomonas and cryopreserving valuable cell lines. Before working at Triton, Kimberly was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Georgia Institute of Technology, where she used experimental evolution and whole-genome sequencing to understand the evolution of Chlamydomonas in different environmental conditions. Kimberly has a PhD degree in Evolution, Ecology and Behavior from Indiana University Bloomington, a Masters degree in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation from Imperial College London, and a Bachelors degree in Agriculture from National Taiwan University.
