Gina Harris

Gina Harris serves as the Secretary Treasurer for the Illinois Education Association since July 2023 while also holding positions as an Adjunct Professor at Roosevelt University, focusing on educator preparation with an emphasis on racial equity and middle school teaching, and as a Culture and Climate Coach at Oak Park Elementary District 97. Additionally, Gina has been a Bilingual Teacher at District 89-Maywood Melrose Park Broadview since March 2015, a role described as a dream come true. Adjunct Faculty roles have been held at Triton College and in the past at the College of Office Technology. Gina Harris also runs a business as an owner. Previous experience includes managing roles at Caribou Coffee and the House of Blues Hotel, as well as office management at Bodhi Spiritual Center. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of Illinois Chicago and both a Master of Business Administration and Master of Arts in Teaching from Dominican University.
